Sept 28th – Lightroom/Photoshop Workshop
September 21, 2008
Imagine a workshop where you actually learn the complete workflow & processes needed to produce beautiful high quality glamour images. This weekend workshop has EVERYTHING you need to learn just that!
1.) Start with a Studio Photography 101 course.
You will learn basic studio lighting techniques, what equipment is used in the studio, and tips for finding and working with beautiful models. Furthermore, you will learn how to create simple, yet stunning sets you can create with limited resources, and the importance of working with a professional make up artist.
2.) Actual studio photography shooting.
The best way to learn is to do, and you will put to practice the things you learned in step #1. Spend time looking through the lens and taking images of a beutiful, sexy model on sets that you will learn how to create and light. You will get to take plenty of images that you will be proud to put in your portfolio. Emphasis will be placed on “Doing a Lot with a Little\.” Not everyone has a large assortment of lighting equipment, or maybe you don’t have a huge room to work out of, or you have a limitied budget to create sets. The instructions given here will emphasize, “doing a lot with a little.”
3.) Learn to use Adobe Lightroom!
Is it time for Adobe Photoshop? NO! Photoshop was not originally designed for photographers. Adobe Lightroom was! Learn to use Lightroom and you’ll save hours of time in your post production work. Organize, enhance, and correct images in Lightroom before you ever put an image in Photoshop. Most workshops leave this step out. Not this one! The time saving lessons taught here will be worth the cost of admission alone. TIME IS MONEY! Learn to save your time!
4.) Learn to use Adobe Photoshop.
Now you are ready for photoshop. You’ll not only learn tips and techniques needed by the glamour photographer. Learn layers, levels, curves, liquify, healing, and much more! In addition to learning what to do, you’ll how to avoid overdoing photoshop techniques. When you are done, you’ll have a beautiful image that you will be proud to put in your portfolio. You will also receive the photoshop lessons & techniques used on a DVD that you can take home and replay at your leisure on your PC.
