Adobe Community Expert

A.J. Wood, Founder & President of Media Cats, Inc., has been selected to join the 2009 class of Adobe Community Experts. The Adobe Community Experts Program is a peer based program made up of Adobe customers who share their product expertise with the world-wide Adobe community. Adobe invites members to the program on a nomination basis, plus a review of qualifications including product expertise, community participation, and industry experience.

Mr. Wood states, “I am grateful to the community & Adobe for inviting me to the Adobe Community Experts program. To be recognized for doing the things that you most enjoy is really special. Joining my peers with the Adobe community will be a benefit not only for me, but for the clients & community which I serve.”

Learning After Effects with J. Schuh!

WHEN: Saturday, February 21st from 11AM to 1PM

Come see Media Cats instructor J. Schuh dazzle the masses with his After Effects prowess! Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about Adobe’s state of the art effects program!

The meeting will be held at Nerdbooks (1681 Firman Drive, Richardson, TX).

This location also acts as a Labrador rescue. Please be aware that there will be at least two dogs roaming the premises (they are friendly).

NOTE – The front door of the facility is locked. We use the side door entrance (which is not marked well). PLEASE KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED, so the dogs will not get out.

Media Cats, Inc., located in Dallas, TX, was named top performing Adobe training center, world-wide, 2Q08. The top 4 out of 5 Adobe world-wide training centers are located in Texas.

Announcements were made recently by Knowledge Advisors, compiled by “Metrics That Matter,” on behalf of Adobe, revealing ratings that registered the highest in student satisfaction. Scores were submitted by students at the end of each Adobe-delivered training class. Each training center and certified instructor requires a minimum number of evaluations to be considered for the top 5 performer categories, world-wide.

In addition to Media Cats, Inc. being honored as top performing training center, A.J. Wood, Founder and President, was named “Top Adobe Certified Instructor.” Mr. Wood states, “I am honored that Media Cats is regarded so highly by our customers. To receive top honors from Adobe means not only are we delivering quality training to our clients, but we are building mutually beneficial relationships as well. Our achievement is a testament to valuing customer service, open communication, ambitious goals, and a humble presence. We wouldn’t be here without our clients and the Dallas/Fort Worth community.”

Come join us on Oct 18th as we take a look at the new features in Adobe Creative Suite 4. Gene will be sure to dazzle all who attend, and A.J. be onsite to hand out some Adobe swag. Drinks and food will be provided for lunch.

DFWAUG (Dallas/Ft. Worth Adobe Users Group) meets on the third Saturday of each month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at NerdBooks in Richardson.
