“The Big Design Conference is an intense day of learning within the scope of Strategy, Social Media, User Experience, and Code Development. Experts from across the country will gather to present theories, research, experiences, and best practices to students, professionals, and executives looking to stay on the bleeding edge.”

The cost for the conference is $50 for professionals & $20 for students. There are four tracks covering Social Media, Code Development, User Experience & Strategy.  This will be a great learning & networking event.

DFWAUG – May Meeting

WHEN: Saturday, May 16th from 11AM to 1PM

Gene McCullagh will explore the world of HDR photography and how to process these images in Photoshop CS4. If you want to get the most from your HDR images don’t miss this meeting!

DFWAUG (Dallas/Ft. Worth Adobe Users Group) is currently scheduled to meet at Nerdbooks (1681 Firman Drive, Richardson, TX).

This location also acts as a Labrador rescue. Please be aware that there will be at least two dogs roaming the premises (they are friendly).

NOTE – The front door of the facility is locked. We use the side door entrance (which is not marked well). PLEASE KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED, so the dogs will not get out.

Adobe Action Double-Feature! Captivate 4 & Lightroom 2!

WHEN: Saturday, April 18th from 11AM to 1PM

Kevin Stagg will be demonstrating Captivate 4 for creating interactive demos followed up by A.J. Wood with Lightroom workflow tips.

The meeting will be held at Nerdbooks (1681 Firman Drive, Richardson, TX).

A.J. Wood, Founder & President of Media Cats, Inc., has been selected to join the 2009 class of Adobe Community Experts. The Adobe Community Experts Program is a peer based program made up of Adobe customers who share their product expertise with the world-wide Adobe community.
